Ben Thanh Art - Fine Art Gallery, which displays and provides contemporary Vietnamese art pieces from over 100 well-known artists, Ben Thanh Art Gallery also consults, introduces, hosts conferences, and develops Vietnamese Fine Arts for many individuals, organizations, and museums.
Several times, I had opportunities to participate in some exhibitions of Vietnamese Fine Arts organized by Ben Thanh Art Gallery, and I highly appreciated this unit's well-groomed and professional organization. However, when approaching the website of Ben Thanh Art Gallery, I figure out some existing problems regarding user interface design on this website platform beside the advantages. Regarding aesthetics, the layouts on this website need to be synchronized and systematic. Although the present UI design is trying to make everything neutral (such as colors, structure, and typography) to highlight these art pieces, overall, the assessment needs to be more creative, up-to-date, and an outstanding Vietnamese contemporary than Ben Thanh Art Gallery targeted. Therefore, I decided to redesign the logo and make a new website to improve the above issues and make a more professional, sustainable, and luxurious look deserving to Ben Thanh Art - Fine Art Gallery.
Using art frames as a graphic language in this web implies archiving and preserving the contemporary culture art pieces in Viet Nam.
Current logo is quite hard to adapt in some cases because of the logotype's structures, such as the thin lines, color palette, etc. So I created a new logo to perform the artistry and professional look for Ben Thanh Art Gallery.
