The commissioned mural 'JOURNEY,' measuring 720 x 106 cm, is situated in the garden. This artwork was a part of Polina Belenchuk's solo exhibition centred around the theme of inner criticism. The mural portrays a journey that commences with a devil-like critic on the right, followed by a bird that symbolises a higher power and faith in destiny.
The bird alleviates the pressure of judgment, allowing the inner child to emerge, represented by a playful dog on the left. The child and the critic are interconnected within each one of us and are depicted in the middle of the mural. Therefore, the mental struggles presented in this mural are relatable to others and serve as a great visual that inspires people walking by to take pictures in front of it, to share in social media.
