Place of Worship and Donation Box Textures Unit

This is another project I made for College in 3DS Max, this was a texturing unit in which I learned how to make my own textures and maps in Adobe Photoshop, and to then add them to meshes in 3DS Max. This is a Place of Worship scene, set in a dark cavern with a Donation Box. As God Rays come through the cracks of the cave.

Visually, there is a shrine in the middle of the scene which sits on a rocky island covered in candles. The shrine is two golden arches, in the middle there is a wooden crate, with a glowing cyan light coming out of it. This is heavily inspired by the "Sea of Thieves" game. In which the treasure chests have similar lighting emitting from them.

Similarly to the Bean-can House special effects, I've shown here that I know how to create God Rays in 3D software (which is a special effect). This would help me get into major movie studios as a SFX artist if I put this in a portfolio. This also shows that I am able to create texture maps without having to go online to find pre-made ones, if I have to.
