Freia 1% is a fictional cocoa powder series with added flavor (Mint, Hazelnut and Vanilla) from Norway’s largest chocolate manufacturer, Freia. The cocoa powder is ground from the rare cocoa bean Criollo harvested only by dugout canoe deep in the Amazon rainforest. The Criollo bean represents only 1% of the world production, and we aimed to highlight the rarity of the bean in the design.The logo is supported by the slogan “Eneste av sitt slag” which translates to “Only one of its kind”.
