Our brief was to create an 'Artists' Book', based on the theme of Escape. We were then to find or use our own images, and supply text that would compliment the images.

 

54 contains images of my grandparents old house, during the emptying process after my Gran's death. I used an excerpt from Steve Jobs' speech he gave to  American graduates, focusing on the part where he spoke about his first near-death experience with cancer. He explained that death was a process that everyone had to go through, and he believed it was life's best invention.
