Take a director of your choice and create a new typographic language for three of their films. ‘The films that made Bond’ celebrates the achievements of Terence Young, as the first director of the James Bond films. The retrospective event will screen ‘Dr. No’, ‘From Russia With Love’, and ‘Thunderball’, in anticipation of the release of ‘SPECTRE’, the newest film in the 007 series. To promote the event, a piece of direct mail was developed that acts as an invitation, ticket and schedule for the screenings. This takes the form a perforated three-fold leaflet. Just as the event celebrates the first, second and fourth films, the leaflet itself tears into one, two and four separate pieces respectively. In addition to the direct-mail piece, I've also created a poster in a similar style to promote the event more broadly.
