In this project, I was tasked for designing a promotional poster for a movie night featuring two iconic films, The Big Lebowski and Indiana Jones. For this particular project, I utilized the illustration technique in Adobe Illustrator.
The challenge here was how to effectively fuse two vastly different films into one cohesive image. I decided to use the bowling ball as a reference since it was a significant object in The Big Lebowski and could be metaphorically represented in the poster by another iconic scene from Indiana Jones where he is being chased by a large rolling stone ball.
By combining both images, I was able to create a striking and memorable poster that effectively merged the humor and adventure of both movies. The poster included all the necessary information about the event and was utilized in promoting the movie night to the audience.
I enjoyed working on this project and was pleased with the final result. The illustration technique was a great way to bring both films together in a fun and creative way, and the poster successfully captured the essence of both movies while generating interest in the event.
