CHAPTER I. ARCHITECTURE OF HIKARI
I was part of a large team involved in the development of Hikari and I'm grateful for the experience gained during the 9 months of work on the project. For this project I served as an interior designer and CGi artist, as well as participated in making important decisions in the design of the building

ABOUT PROJECT
Hikari is not just another building project, Hikari is a place for human habitation. The concept of a true oasis, a sacred place for living was laid here. The design of the house has been carefully thought out to the smallest detail so that future residents can enjoy life and be one with nature even within the walls of their homes.
One of the main goals of Hikari is to create unity with nature. Comfort is created both outside and inside. Creating harmony.
Despite being a multistory building this project features only 11 apartments. One of them is a luxurious penthouse on the top floor with private gardens, a terrace, a jacuzzi and breathtaking views of the sea.

For Hikari was developed a separate landscape design project by landscape architect which includes: japanese garden, individual balcony's gardens for each apartment, aromatic garden on the roof of the penthouse (for growing home vegetables and herbs), large garden on the penthouse terrace.

In addition, designed for planting three types of real bamboo around the perimeter of the building which will create a unique atmosphere and make Hikari one of the special objects of bionic architecture. All of this will help residents enjoy a unity with nature and comfort both outside and inside the home.

We chose a fence with client based on the idea of simplicity. We didn't want to overload the facade with ugly and typical fences, so we opted for a simple option that serves as both protection and is aesthetically appealing.
For all the fences of Hikari and planters (for balcony plants) we use corten material. It has a stunning unique texture and over time it will become even more beautiful.

SKETCHES

Building has not just an ordinary rectangular-shaped. Despite having a fairly simple geometry, the architect came up with a building shape resembling a ship that seems to be trying to sail away into the sea.

The building has 16 columns around perimeter made of wood. The columns are fastened to a double-T beam at the bottom creating a floating effect and a sense of weightlessness.

The building's plinth is made of natural stone and wooden slats were chosen to maintain the natural look. These slats are interrupted in some places which helps to achieve a sense of lightness and avoid monotony.
To create high-quality visualization, I modeled the entire space myself (using geometry). I tried to replicate all the details with the highest possible accuracy to reflect the object in a realistic environment
The balconies of the apartments are lush hanging gardens that transform the building into a verdant oasis amidst the concrete structures of the town. Additionally, the project boasts a meticulously designed a wide variety of plants and stunning compositions of trees, shrubs and flowers. The landscape architect  has carefully placed each plant in its proper location, ensuring that every aspect of the project is truly unique.
The abundance of plants in this project has become a key aspect for me in taking part. Despite the difficult task, I fell in love with the concept and wanted to recreate what no one has seen yet and show how it will be in reality
The task was very difficult, but look at the result!

With client we chose the color for the plaster several times. The city has strict rules for architecture (the color of facades and roof finish - only certain colors of tiles are allowed). The chief architect of the city strictly monitors all rules and in our case there was no exception. The use of white color was strictly prohibited. After several attempts we chose a color that will quite difficult to tint but it fits perfectly into the environment.

The penthouse is unique not only in terms of interiors but also in terms of the terrace organization and having its own gardens. It has its own large private terrace, jacuzzi, shower, relaxation area, sun loungers, dinning area. The penthouse also has a stunning pergola that has the ability to transform, as well as a beautiful garden with water and a garden for growing vegetables and herbs next to the kitchen area.

Wall-mounted outdoor sconces also were specially designed developed for the penthouse. I was directly involved in this process

Breathtaking Japanese and Penthouse gardens on the ground and top floor is home to an abundance of plants, trees, and flowers that create a truly unique and serene atmosphere. Each plant has been thoughtfully placed, contributing to the overall beauty and distinctiveness of the project.

Hikari is not just a building. It is a work of art that showcases the power of thoughtful design and attention to detail

EVENING VIEWS
LOCATION
The Hikari project is designed on the south of France, in the Carqueiranne city. The area is very picturesque with stunning landscapes and a true Mediterranean climate. The sky here has a beautiful hue and it was very important for the client that I reflected this color in the visualizations

The building will be constructed on the place of the old city hall building. The shape of the building and its surrounding area are of an unusual form. Unconventional solutions have been applied for the shape of the object.
The building will have an underground parking. Access will be provided from a secondary road. The entrance to the parking will be a beautiful composition, surrounded by a large number of plants

The city has very strict requirements for the design of buildings (uniformly colored tiled roofs and special standards for plaster color), so Hikari serves as a supporting element in the surrounding area, but at the same time, it undoubtedly stands out with its uniqueness - abundance of greenery
