Jakes Road House is a restaurant in Monrovia California. The owner came to me needing to revamp their website. They needed a way to showcase their food, let people know who they are as well as how to get a hold of them. 

A screenshot of the about page (above) shows a bit of history, Google maps as well as their operating hours. A left hand sidebar provides quick access to their menu items - which are categorized by type.

Blocked fonts for the headings and subheadings are using Cufon technology. All rounded containers and gradients are CSS3 code. Photos of the food are meticulously hand  sliced in Photoshop and imported as individual images. The website is running on WordPress so the owner can edit content periodically. 

The homepage features a large carousel of images of the restaurant, clients and of course the food. Navigation elements are using CSS sprites, while the logo (not designed by me) sits on top of the header.
