This is one of my Self-Portrait for Adobe The New Creative project. I chose Nixxy Bunny, the rabbit with the longest ears to be with me, as she is one of my favourite characters. Nixxy Bunny is created by cotton buds and Gouache colour then work on Photoshop.

I followed the instruction given by Adobe to merge myself with Nixxy Bunny. This is the result!

Here are some instructions for anyone who may be interested to try this out!

 

 

Select an image I want to work with.

 

Step 02:
 

Pick my self-portrait photo (selfie?). I chose a very natural looks for this work since I don't want my make-up to get in a way of the image details I selected to merge with my portrait.

 

 

 

Make the background black. Select any visible skin and make it as white as possible. I used Channel Mixer and Hue Saturation for this effect.

 

Make an overall blue light simulation as the same light as the studio. I simply add another layer painted all blue (Darker mode) on top of photo layer in Photoshop.

 

Apply your art with 2 layers with 2 different blending modes, multiply and soft light.

These are instructions given by Adobe to merge myself with my artwork. I really enjoy this project and it is not over complicated to make. I would recommend this project for anyone interested or have Photoshop to try this out.
