Stuff i own.
An on-going illustrated catalog of my consumption.
Inspired by a trip to Southern India and my research into issues concerning consumerism and waste, this project aims to highlight the vast amount of ‘Stuff’ we surround ourselves by on a day to day basis.By drawing everything I own I hope to visually represent just how much one person can accumulate, often having multiple versions of the same thing due to changes in fashion and ‘updates’ in technology, and also surrounding myself with things I think I ‘need’ that in reality have little and rare function in my everyday life.
For our ‘Pop-up House’ exhibition in Soho during London design week I compiled these drawings to create an everyday household product - wall paper - to hang in the space. Our nine day exhibition included workshops, events and talks by D&AD and Seymour Powell.
