A furniture that can be used as both a desk and a armchair.
I read in a book that there was a period in the history of furniture when cushions were added to the top of chairs. The reason is that when people played cards at that time, there were often other people watching, the posture was facing the back of the chair, and the chin was resting on the chair. This inspired me to think how it can be used in 2 way.
Tailor armchair can be regarded as two kinds of furniture, one is an armchair that uses the raised plane as the back of the chair, and the other is a desk that uses the raised plane as the tabletop. In order to support the back, it is added the vertical curved panels are used as the back of the chair, and the blank spaces on both sides suggest that the feet can pass through.
