Frenemies | The game of social currency

Frenemies is an easy-to-learn strategy card game where players compete to earn the most social currency. You can humblebrag, steal thunder, or backhanded compliment. Five cards in your bank closes the round, but watch out because your frenemy could throw you under the bus and ruin it all.
The deck is comprised of social currency cards and action cards.
Frenemies gain social currency cards such as "Check-in at the gym," or "Charm them all with your childhood photo" and get ahead with action cards like "Steal thunder" and "Backhanded compliment" that sabotage frenemies.
The concept of the game is based on behavior that is not limited to, but has been influenced or exaggerated by social media. Check out the New York Times Opinion Page dedicated to the topic, Room for Debate: Facebook and Narcissism http://nyti.ms/1eJJvMt
