USPS Creepy Clown


I worked round the clock to come up with the weirdest, creepiest yet most innocent and unassuming clown possible. We had many notes, and many people with many contradicting thoughts about what this clown was to be, and in the end, it was shot with three very different clowns, but the one that made it into this commercial had the "IT" factor.
You might think it's easy, but creepy things aren't always trying to be creepy. Was this clown genuinely evil, or simply misunderstood? 
Whatever the case, the little clown went on to win the hearts of millions, and I still get fan mail from fans of this little zany jester that terrified a family in one 30 second spot.

Here is the ACTUAL "hero clown" as we call it, since it was used on set, in the commercial, the STAR of the show! 
This is a shot from the actual commercial, the clown as "recently unwrapped by the now distraught family."

And I think it was THIS shot that made people fall in love with the Creepy Clown, so much that he has his own Facebook Page!
