The packaging is meant to showcase the product. For this reason all of the required content is on the back of the bottle.
 
Similar to cereal box toys, I wanted to included a freebie for the consumer, something they would keep and relate to the brand each time they used it. The flatware changes color based on the temperature of the food.
For the ad I wanted to create something that parents would appreciate and that children could easily read and enjoy. As delicious as those flapjacks look, it’s true that no pancake breakfast is complete without syrup.
The syrup industry is dominated by children and their families, but there is no packaging geared towards them. The closest thing to a childrenís syrup brand is Aunt Jemima and the bottle features an old woman. With this knowledge I decided to create a syrup brand specifically for kids. Maine Squeeze features a kids friendly packaging with a taste even parents will enjoy.
