ALGICROCHET Eco-Sustainable Packaging
Our goal is to create a new type of anti-shock packaging for fragile objects in such a way that we can reduce the use of plastic during transportation. The solution lies in the creation of a bio-filate made from a mix of water, sodium alginate, vegetable glycerin and calcium chloride, with which it is possible to create a net from the gelatinous consistency capable of cushioning shocks. It is also composed of totally green and biodegradable materials. After months of testing the recipe, we finally managed to find the consistency we needed for the bio-filate, strong and rubbery.
