James Webb: Staring into Space

A colourful infographic about the most technically advanced space telescope ever created.

BBC Science focus magazine wanted a detailed, engaging and fun infographic that explored the amazing features of the James Webb Space Telescope, including its objectives and tools, a timeline of its journey so far, and an interesting explainer about why the telescope's images feature eight-pointed stars.

Webb's images are so full of colour and energy, and so I wanted to reflect these lively visuals with a layout that's big and bold, with dynamic icons and lots of character. I absolutely love any space related project, so this was a real pleasure to work on, and gave me a great opportunity to learn a bit more about this game changing tool for astronomy.
