PROJECT OVERVIEW

New studio typology:
    - Studio is evolving
    - Collaborative nature
    - Integration of technology
    - Traditional and Digital
    - Modularity and Mobility
    - Macro system vs. Micro Organism

Our studio must evolve. In order to keep up with the rapid change of technology in
our field which creates the collaborative nature of architectural firms in the
real world, our studio must adapt to a new hybrid typology. [FLUX STUDIO]
seeks to introduce three new ideas:
1. Physically integrating the Digital and Handcraft, as to break the mental barrier that, up until
now, teaches us that Handcraft is strictly for exploration and the Digital for
   execution
2. The modularity and mobility of [FLUX STUDIO] promotes the exchange and interaction between
students, creating a breeding ground for new ideas.
3. [FLUX STUDIO] reinterprets the "Micro Organisms" of the old studio to become a "Macro System",
introducing a group workflow as opposed to that of an individual, working alone at the drafting table.

MODULAR STORAGE
- The modular storage unit is meant as a building block to create libraries, seating, screening
areas and more. The units are easily lifted, rolled around and rotated, and hold two "architect's
boxes." These "architect's boxes" also fit into the table, easily being integrated into a student's ceveryday workflow.
ORGANIC TABLE
- As a single unit, the table's shape provides room for group- and individual- work simultaneously. Thanks
to it's "blob" form, the surface creates individual spaces while leaving ample working
area for large groups. Adding the ability to connect with other tables gives the studio infinite
  reconfigurations.

COMPUTER DESK
- The computer desk, attached to the old columns, acts as an umbilical cord, grounding the eentire
working space. Because technology now sits next to and can be connected to the
handcraft space, Digital work can be integrated into the student's exploratoration workflow.
