With this illustration, I wanted to express tenderness and protection.

During the process of representing their fur and glance, I discarded an illustration due to its defiant expression. Although, I want to continue experimenting with that emotion. I will share something when I define it.

In order to understand these beautiful creatures a bit more, I did some research before drawing, and sadly, I came across the news that tigers are in danger of extinction and most live in captivity. I wonder if we will ever be able to learn to live with nature without causing irreparable damage to it.

Durante el proceso de búsqueda para representar el pelaje y la mirada, hice otra ilustración que descarté porque expresaba desafío. Aunque, quiero seguir experimentando con esa emoción. Compartiré algo cuando lo tenga definido.

Para entender un poco más a estas criaturas hermosas, investigué un poco antes de ponerme a dibujar y, lamentablemente, me encontré con la triste noticia de que los tigres se encuentran en peligro de extinción y que la mayoría vive en cautiverio. Me pregunto si seremos capaces algún día de aprender a convivir con la naturaleza sin causarle estos daños irreparables.
