Reclaimed Carpet Hammock
An entrant in the 2009 Ample Sample carpet contest. The premise of the contest was to reuse carpet tile samples sent to architecture firms in creative ways. Working with3 friends in 3 days we cut 10 carpet tiles into bands and made chains. Eventually forming a hammock. We made the oak end rods and Used large d-rings to hold the rope. The project came in second in the competition, and had images displayed at Neo con. An additional aspect of the project was having to submit how to PDF's of the project.
