Oak, Lasers, and Love
Made as a Christmas present for my little Sister who loves owls. I found a picture of a real Great Horned Owl, live traced it using Illustrator, and laser etched it on a piece of reclaimed oak from a Chicken coop in North GA. The text and figure nubers were added to give it a scientific plate feel. The shape was hand routed using a laser cut template. The oak is finished with toung oil.
