The core idea behind the concept was to make it timeless and iconic like Sachin, his ‘magic wand’, the bat is sculpted in a grand scale to capture its true weight, which with each shot connected millions of hearts across India.
This installation, intended for human interaction, gives the viewer a broader sensory experience that one can enjoy from a distant view. The bat is set in an angle to give a fun illusion that the fan is holding Sachin's bat. We chose a tough yet the most beautiful material stainless steel, because of its strength, toughness and flawless finish.
As Sachin always played for the country first, the core of the bat is kept blue, the Indian cricket color.
