SUKILIMAS | CONFUSION
Kaunas 2022 - European Capital of Culture trilogy event. The opening ceremony was all about the uprising and breaking old stereotypes.
CONCEPT
Creative concept - to transform the original logo according to each event. Keeping in mind that it will be a series, it was decided to keep such elements as composition, black background and shape of a logo as unifying symbols.
ART DIRECTION
Logo became a rebellious graffiti tag. This aesthetic and spirit was later adapted in a TV clip and social media. The contrast between bright colour and black background became a recognisable and eye-catching look in print and outdoor advertising.
