The client wanted an updated "look" for his business card -- a perfectly servicable print-shop design from a stock template -- but didn't want to lose some of the elements that he'd used for several years—Copperplate Gothic and Old English fonts, notably, and the green color for the "SE" logo.

 

His original card had a white background. I reversed that, and added the circle borders around the logo; the circuitry in the background is from an a genuine circuit board that I redrew in Illustrator.
