BOOK COVER/LOGO DESIGN: "Thrilling Tales: Count Shadau"

I recently took on a job as a sort of free-range editor/graphic designer/art director for a dice-and-paper roleplaying game publisher, Adamant Entertainment.

In addition to rebranding the company logo, I updated a bunch of the logos and trade dress for their various publishing lines. The first of these lines, "Thrilling Tales," is inspired by 1930s-1940s pulp. Source art is up-rezzed public domain pulp cover art, which is then digitally "weathered" and integrated with new trade dress.

The "Pulp Villains" line consists of short (10-20 page) books, released in PDF-only, containing stand alone bad guys to drop into ongoing adventuring sessions. This one, "Count Shadau" is basically a Commie vampire bastard.
