The exhibition VATN (e. Water was held in an empty commercial space at Laugavegur 27 from May 2 to 25, 2019. The exhibition featured 14 works – pencil, charcoal, and watercolors on paper. All sketches and smaller drawings were created on the island of Bali in Indonesia. The pieces were influenced by the weightlessness and timelessness that comes with being underwater, when the heart rate slows down and the changes in temperature as the water touches the skin. Everything turns up, and everything turns down. The waves are in control, and the only thing left to do is let them pass you by and toss you around until your body can catch its breath again.
