Perforation was utilized as a language to define spaces, as an acoustical control device, and as an approach to revelation and privacy. Where solid material is needed, such as in flooring for example, high contrast finishes were specified to create surfaces that appear as though perforated.
A custom pattern was devised, for the perforated metal ceilings, that is used in three scales to emphasize the staggered height of the ceiling planes.  Perforated metal drapes are used to add emphasis, and provide acoustical control, around the bar area.  The solid retaurant ceiling is perforated at the top of each column  creating a light well.
The Western facade has been perforated to create an extruded window that spans the main level and second floor. The carpet's high contrast pattern reads as perforation, though it is a solid plane.

The three sections show consistancy in materials used throughout - bold emerald green is contrasted by stark white and is accented by deep red/ brown stained millwork and, in key areas, with vibrant red.
