Brief:
To design a poster and logo for an upcoming sports day event. It is a fundraising event, where all of the procedes go to the 'Hope for Children' charity.
Research:
I looked into classic vintage americana posters and signage as inspiration.
Rather than designing the one poster, I chose to design a set of 4 to represent the house system where you are divided into four different houses. My aim was to reflect the fun side of old school sports such as the egg and spoon race.
The main event is a rounders match at the end of the day. The words 'rounders match' have been highlighted using a darker shade and the asterix lets people find out how to enter the match.
