Penguin paperback book covers have been an iconic part of British culture for almost a century. To encourage the next generation of graphic designers and creatives they hold an annual design competition for students with an opportunity to design a cover for child and adult books. In 2013 I entered the adult category with a cover for The Big Sleep, a mystery novel that has become an American classic.
