- Dragon Mountain
Yongsan District is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. The district has a population of around 230,000 and has a geographic area of 21.87 km2, and is divided into 19 dongs (administrative neighbourhoods). Yongsan is located in central Seoul on the northern bank of the Han River. The name Yongsan derives from hanja and means “Dragon Mountain”. In hanja, the characters are 龍 yong (meaning “dragon”) and 山 san (meaning “mountain”).

These pictures were taken around the district's west side, in a vast area between the Yongsan Station and the Seoul Station, during some hot summer nights in August 2019.
