We were asked to design postcards inviting the public to the 2029 Design Thinking Lecture Series, which would showcase one of our classmates. The copy text came from our partner, and then we were tasked with designing a postcard that would communicate their design philosophy and their lecture content. Postcards had to be 5x7", full-color one on side, one spot color on the back. Once we had our design, we then had to create two variations of it (I chose to do three for balance).

This one was initially tricky, as my partner Erin had two reasons for her interest in motion. There was the psychological aspect, which served as the underlying base, and related more to UX, and then the literal interest in moving objects in design. So for my design, I had two 'layers': the stable grid in the back serving as the base, and the more 'literal' moving object spiraling in the front.
