Bus Rapid Transit in La Martinique, French West Indies
A fresh sun-and-sea diagram of the BHNS (BRT) system in Fort-de-France, the main urban center and also the capital of the island of Martinique -a French overseas territory located in the Caribbean Sea
The network opened in 2018 and consists of two lines sharing a common trunk on most of a 13.9km-long route and serving 18 stations in Fort-de-France and the neighbouring town of Le Lamentin, where the Martinique-Aimé Césaire International Airport is located
Some extensions of the network are in project and currently under public consultation: extending westward to Schœlcher (a town part of the greater Fort-de-France area), eastward to Le Robert on the Atlantic Ocean coast and also southward to Ducos and Rivière-Salée
I have also included all available connections to other bus lines of the Mozaïk network as well as an index of those lines to give that somewhat minimalist diagram an extra layer of information
