brief: the client is a tennis club owner with the name of "GALAW!" which is a filipino word that can be translated to "MOVE!". they wanted to break free from the traditional aesthetic of tennis clubs but still wanted a clean look.
solution: in shaping the identity for GALAW Tennis Club, the inspiration drew closely from the energy of the game and the word "GALAW" itself. the client had a real passion for tennis, so together we observed what we liked about tennis and we agreed on "energy".
with that in mind, we got energy through the sense of motion and dynamic movements that were done through straight and sharp strokes that evoked where the tennis ball and players were going. along with a logotype that supports the passion that tennis brings.
