This was a project my class had to practice using the pen tool in Adobe illustrator.
We were required to use select an object and illustrate that object in different situations
Here are the 27 thumbnails we were required to make before we started in Ai
After Drawing the 27 thumbnails we had to pick 10 and recreate them in Illustrator

Although it wasn't a requirement, I chose to restrict myself to the same color pallet to keep them all cohesive which did make it more challenging and more fun.
This assignment was the first time I had used the gradient tool consistently also.
I chose the humble apple because it was the first object I thought of and it has a relatively simple shape, allowing me to not worry too much about how it looks and have more fun creating the scene for the apple
This was a really fun project for me and also let me work in a style that I like. I wanted to go for a more comic strip look and all I could think of during all of it was "The Daily Life of an Apple".
