RTE WORLD CUP 2022
WindMillLane was delighted to work with RTE, Ireland's national broadcaster, in developing and help visualise the overall look and feel of their World Cup 2022 broadcast studio output. This consisted of three separate lighting versions of the main studio design. As the world cup programme runs through-out the day we created a daytime, evening and night time version of each setup. Each one being utilised to reflect the time schedule of the chosen game covered.
Concept
The driving concept behind the design was to create a space that complimented and immersed the viewer into the world of the Qatar World Cup 2022. With a creative nod towards to the contemporary and modern architectural stadiums erected for the competition but also a design that evokes a more traditional take on the geography and landscape of the country.
