Leica has been an icon since the 1920s. To honor its unique style and identity, we focused of course on its deliberately reduced German design – but also interpreted and incorporated essential technical and functional elements that have always been characteristic of Leica’s unique rangefinder cameras. Like the banderole that protects each camera. Or the bright-line frames in the viewfinder that enhance photographers’ focus on the essential. These Leica-typical elements bind the entire Corporate Design thematically and ground it in product truth.
