Vulpine cycle clothing – Designed and produced by Blue Associates

Vulpine launched in March 2012 with a range of performance cycle clothing for the urban cyclist. The brief to use was to design, develop and source the entire range that included softshells, rain jackets, trousers, shorts and a full collection of merino jerseys and tops.

Blue Associates became involved in the process prior to the initial investment to launch the business by assisting in costings, sourcing and working out the capital required to launch the range.

Style and attention to detail was paramount as these garments would potentially spend more time being worn off the bike and in a professional or social environment as well as on the bike cycling to your local destination, be it work or a bar.

The styles and colours were inspired from mainstream fashion garments and then we turned these into performance garments by adding cycle specific details and selected fabrics that worked on and off the bike.

The result is a brand that launched a range of cycle garments to fill a niche in the market and have done so with great success, winning several gear tests against established brands and some great press from the likes of BBC, Creative Review, FHM, Gardian, Independent, Monocle, Sky, Stuff, Sunday Times and the cycling specific press.

The entire collection was designed, developed and produced by Blue Associates apart from the socks and hat.
