October 1st, Happy coffee day everyone!

Whether you like it dark as winter night or with milk, with sugar or black, hot or cold today is our day! Let's celebrate today with a traditional coffee from my country Turkey, ‘Turk kahvesi’.
If you visited Turkey or you have a Turkish friend, I bet you drank this coffee at least once.

It's made with finely grounded coffee beans without filtering. The tool for making this coffee is called ‘cezve’. You simply put one heaped sugar spoon of Turkish coffee into the cezve and add one espresso sized cup of water and then stirred it. Let it boil until you see bubbles trying to come out from the cezve. Then remove it from the cook and pour it into your cup. You can serve the coffee with chocolate or lokum if you like sweet things with coffee.

Watercolour painting progresses. It was such a challenge to replicate the traditionally painted coffee cup but I had so much fun.
