Yogurt with Nuts & Fruit
-Mixed Media Food Illustration with Spine 2D Animation-
Creamed Greek yogurt with Nuts and Dried Fruits!
It's a perfect snack or even a breakfast 😋
I wanted to showcase my recent illustrations with some action, and I'm super pleased with the first Spine animation I made!
The animating of the painting started as a joke while I was cleaning my painting's scan, (I took a short video of me hiding the Walnuts' layer behind Yogurt's layer on Adobe Photoshop) but I took it seriously after my husband showed the Spine Animation program for this task—such an easy program to use I must add. I will continue to explore this program and try to integrate my workflow since I enjoyed working with it.
and, I hope you'll enjoy my work too.

All the elements were painted separately with watercolours and coloured pencils on hot-pressed watercolour paper and then scanned to my laptop. I cleaned up the background of the ingredients and separated them with the help of the Photoshop program. After arranging layers, I uploaded my layered elements into the Spine animation program. After the animating, I exported the animation as PNGs. The output of the animation was combined with the help of Adobe After Effects.

Long live the Creative Cloud subscription! Am I right!? haha
Well, it was a long but happy process since I learnt a new program in the process.
