Working towards a new social cost of carbon in another issue of the world's leading environmental research magazine.

The final Resources magazine issue of 2021 led with an article discussing the complex process of calculating the most important number you’ve probably never heard of; the social cost of carbon. The issue also included a fascinating look at the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps, a New Deal–era program which still has relevance to contemporary climate change mitigation efforts.

As with each issue, I created the layouts as well as contributing a number of infographics and illustrations. The issue also featured some brilliant commissions – Studio Muti created our wonderful cover artwork as well as contributing another illustration to the opening article, and Tom Clohosy Cole produced a breathtaking spread that explored the legacy and future of the Civilian Conservation Corps.

You can read the full issue here.
