I created these magazine ads for MUSC, as they communicate the message of hope. I interviewed people who have had to overcome difficult life challenges and illustrated their perception of hope. Illustrated typography and collage gives these ads a warm and friendly tone and makes them feel full of life and hope. I took photographs of my collaged artwork and made slight alterations in Photoshop. A short paragraph about the interviewees’ particular life obstacle is included so that the viewer becomes more emotionally involved and walks away with a more positive outlook.
