Nezlamni (Unbreakable)

From February 24, 2022, millions of Ukrainians faced absolute evil.
And millions were left with the trauma of war alone. This is how the project Nezlamni (Unbreakable) appeared, a therapeutic online experience to help Ukrainians overcome war trauma.
There were collected 12 stories from people who came back from hell to live and give hope to others. These people did not just survive disasters, wars, concentration camps, and overcome diseases. They achieved incredible success in their new life.

For Nezlamni I developed an identity and created a landing page that would tell about the project and lead to video stories of the main characters. All these heroes have experienced great trauma and life's trials, but they have not been crushed. So this metaphor of fortitude and stoutness was laid at the core of the identity.  Life's difficulties are literally shown as a pile of stones.
At the same time these stories tell us how to keep hope and remain human. So graphically I supported it with delicate linear graphics and contrasting antique font for the headings.
The font we used in the logo called KyivType, made by Ukrainian designer Dmytro Rastvortsev.
