O livro "Negros Gigantes" é uma autobiografia de Alê Garcia cuja temática discorre sobre personalidades negras que influenciaram o autor desde sua infância á atual fase. O livro trata sobre representatividade e mais do que isso, do poder de narrativas que potencializam histórias marcadas por uma sociedade que limita a existência e os acessos de pessoas negras. Dentre os nomes estão Mano Brown, James Baldwin, Elza Soares, Sabotage entre outros.
Minha contribuição se deu no desenvolvimento de projeto gráfico, capa e ilustrações, que foram construídas a partir dos relatos do Alê numa espécie de colcha de retalhos de memórias do autor. O livro foi lançado pela VR Editora no selo Latitude, com direção editorial de Marco Mineiro, concepção de projeto e edição de Marcia Alves.

The book "Negros Gigantes" is an autobiography by Alê Garcia whose theme is about black personalities who have influenced the author from his childhood to the current phase. The book deals with representation and more than that, the power of narratives that enhance stories marked by a society that limits the existence and access of blacks. Among the names are Mano Brown, James Baldwin, Elza Soares, Sabotage, among others. My contribution was developing graphic design, cover, and illustrations, which were built from Alê's reports in a patchwork quilt of the author's memories. The book was released by VR Editora by the Latitude label, with editorial direction by Marco Mineiro and editing by Marcia Alves.
