After many successful culinary ventures across the country, Celebrity chef James Martin, well-known for his cookery shows on the BBC and Channel 4, has brought his talents up north. In September 2013, James opened his brand new restaurant, James Martin Manchester, inside theManchester235 Casino.

Previously housing Linen restaurant, the venue has seen a complete refurbishment with rustic decor throughout and a unique open viewing meat market. James has created his menus around his signature style of modern British, which gives top billing to locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. It is big on flavour and uncontrived in its simplicity.

 

We were delighted to be asked to work with James Martin and his team to create a strong web presence for the new restaurant, showcasing the unique brand and delicious food. As the restaurant was having it’s interior facelift before opening we created a landing page to introduce the upcoming restaurant to the awaiting public and keeping them updated with changing photo and twitter feeds.

 

Following on from this we designed and developed a fully responsive website for the restaurant. The interactive parallax homepage acts a portal to all the different areas of the site such as galleries, menus and contact details, all of which are designed to support ongoing updates of news, blogs and social feeds.
