Mother is a film production house based in Lisbon, with more than 25 years of experience. They have produced more than 600 commercials, music videos, documentaries, tv shows and photo campaigns, in Portugal, Spain, France, South Africa, Germany, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, USA, Italy and Brasil.
The old logo lacked personality and attitude and no longer matched the values and work
of the company. Consequently, to make justice to the company, a new logo was created.
A new typography was used to add personality, attitude, dinamism, sophistication
and still conveying credibility.
Due to its great success, Mother extended its business to photography.
Since it runs "in the family", it needed to be branded too.
The new element "Step" is purposely interventive and aims to give the idea of a rebel sibling.
The colour red represents passion, energy and excitment.
It is a warm colour: the colour of fire, blood and of the human heart.
It symbolises the flame that consumes the desire. It stimulates the nervous system.
Blood circulation gives energy to the body and elevates our self-esteem.
