The titles for the Industrial Light & Magic 2012 Siggraph electronic theater reel were created using traditional stop motion animation techniques. I created puppets and miniature sets, in a nostalgic style, like old children's cartoons. They were filmed over a few days of shooting, very rapidly, so they do have a sort of unrefined look. Karen Wong animated with me on these, it was super fun work.

Here are the finished transitions on their own (without the visual effects breakdowns for the ILM films). Sound design was by Skywalker Sound...
