CTG Blockchain is a European technology company with multiple offices and a focus on consulting services for the blockchain startups. We are linked by a long history of cooperation and several successfully created products. This time we had to rethink the archaic design of our partner's old website and create a modern business product for them.
General principles
Like any Western European company, CTG Blockchain strives on maintaining business continuity and integrations from early business stages and not making any U-turns towards trendy design solutions. The German sophistication of our partners is perfectly combined with our approach to business, so we decided to stick to a strict style and minimalism.

Since the client did not know where to start, but certainly trusted us, we agreed on working groups and got to work.

Branding and logo
Our client's previous site didn't even have a logo, just a company name. We decided to experiment a little with the brand and refresh it. A study of the market and competitors was made, and the hypothesis was confirmed that it is possible to stand out among competitors' companies by conciseness and simplicity, without overloading users with annoying graphic effects. A new logo was developed for the company, the corporate font and colors were changed, a style guide was created.
Main page
It was decided to abandon the multi-page corporate website concept in favor of a modern solution with several linked landing pages, each serving its own purpose. The main page of the site explains to users the client's business and introduces the list of services.
Partners and clients of CTG Blockchain are located on all continents and time zones, so it is important that the project supports all the largest language groups.

Community / blog
A business working with crypto startups always accumulates large volumes of rare or unique information that could potentially be useful to other market participants. The blog helps to share valuable experience, as well as tell stories that can help prevent the development of scam projects, influence the strengthening of blockchain security protocols, or evaluate the investment attractiveness of developing projects.
Investing
An important part of the platform is a non-public investment offer. The leaders of CTG Blockchain offer their VIP clients the opportunity to increase their assets in cryptocurrencies thanks to an investment plan fixed in a smart contract. Our team created all these mechanics from scratch based on the Ethereum blockchain. We created and then audited smart contracts to make sure that automation of depositing, earning and withdrawing funds is absolutely safe.
Personal area
The investor's personal account is similar to a bank account, which in fact is, with the exception of a cryptocurrency, and not a traditional, account. Unfortunately, we cannot publicly disclose the terms of investment and the calculation of yield, because we are bound by NDA policy, but we can talk a little about this.
Each new investment is a new voucher with its own conditions. Users cannot increase the deposit amount of the old voucher, but are required to open a new one in order not to reveal the calculation of the compound interest of previous deposits.

Multi-language
We implemented a multilingual site and we worked with native speakers of 4 languages so that in addition to the English version of the site, users could use: German, Spanish, Russian and Chinese. From a design point of view, multilingualism always involves a lot of work, because it is necessary to almost redo the UI for each language, and then adapt it for devices, as a result of which the layout for layout increases in size by a multiple of the languages used.
Adaptation
As we said earlier, in addition to the main page and the investment landing page, the project contains an event page, but it is created twice a year, so we did not add them to this story. The main pages of the project, as well as the personal account, have been adapted for smartphones and tablets, as we always do with all projects. The main difficulty was in displaying a large amount of important information about deposits in the investor's personal account. I had to turn to the rich experience of creating dashboards and reports with a lot of data so that the user can easily control the most important data.
