SOLUTION
Before physically creating the letterforms, the word “take” was thoroughly researched and concepualized upon. This lead to the word to represent young girl’s self-esteem that is taken by others who put them down. Young girl’s then take other people’s opinions as truth. This is shown by the shattered pieces of glasses and the jagged letterforms, as the girl can not clearly see her true beauty through her broken self-esteem.
