Tram services started november 2007 in Le Mans, a French town mainly known for its "24 heures du Mans" yearly motor race
At first, the network merely consisted in a three-branch single line serving three termini
That first phase of tramway introduction to the city was then the least expensive tram line (as €/km) built in France
Extension in 2014 has seen the network rerouted as two lines sharing a common trunk of 8 stations in the core urban area
In 2016, the town has implemented a new rapid transit route thanks to the introduction of a BRT line (officially dubbed as T3) serving both Le Mans and the neighbouring town of Allonnes
In this new schematic diagram, I've chosen to focus mainly on "rapid transit" options in the area while also showing how those services connect to the regular urban bus network.
