Course: INTA 211, 2012

The brief for both of these assignments require the same appartment. It is an appartment which sets the challenge of responding for one student and their grandparents. The site is located on Ghuznee Street, Wellington and is the Bartley & Company Art Gallery.
Weekly exercises were set in order to develop the final result but through diferent mediums.
 
1st assignment:
Programme: The method of design was approached by breaking down the programme of living into four main components= sleeping, eating, bathing and recreating. In order to develop an organizational approach, the attitude/feeling that was embodied was a sense of continuity. The following images are sketches/diagrams and 3D modeling of the design process.
 
2nd assignment:
Abstraction: Axonometric drawings have been produced to create a dynamic interior using a single geometry of triangular forms, manipulation of geometry by using 'multiplication' and 'distortion' and a sense of 'complexity' for the overall attitude/feeling.
